Jay Z performed in front of a crowd of 18,000 fans and as he promised he held his own in ” the House that Hovie built”The Barclay Center “Home of The Brooklyn Nets”  which includes amenities such as: The Vault: Discreetly located, these suites come with concierge service and eight tickets in the first 10 rows of every event, The 40/40 Club: A spinoff of Jay-Z’s famed Manhattan location, this is the premium bar at Barclays Center, and Junior’s Cheesecake: As part of the effort to Brooklynize the arena, there will be 35 iconic borough food vendors throughout, including this NYC institution.

Although their was not a host of A list artist on the bill  Hov brought out Brooklyn’s own Big Daddy Kane, who did a mini-set,  that drove the crowd crazy doing hits like “Ain’t No Half Steppin’  Scoob Lover and Scrap Lover, his old backup dancers joined him.

There was also a heartfelt  tribute to Brooklyn’s own late legendary hip hop artist  The “Notorious B.I.G  that included a Hologram of him that appeared  on stage, during which Jay-Z rattled off rhymes from the late rapper’s “Kick in the Door” and “Juicy.” “We have to understand our history,” is what he told the crowd. Read more: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/review/jay-z-barclays-center-brooklyn-concert-review-375192
