Last weekend there was a series of events being held in New York City by Afrika Bambaataa and The Mighty Zulu Nation in honor of celebrating the 38th anniversary of Hip-Hop music and the 39th anniversary of the Zulu Nation. Three events took place at the Gramercy Theater in downtown Manhattan on Friday and Saturday, the finale event took place that Sunday, November 11 at S.O.B.s. The celebrations were blessed by a number of pioneering MC’s and DJ’s of our hip hop culture DJ Red Alert, Grandmaster Caz, Sequence, Donald D. EL da Sensei, Crash Crew, Boogie Boys, Grand Wizard Theodore and many others.
