In a recent interview on the red carpet legendary hip hop artist MC Lyte relieved her intentions of focusing on the guidance of the comeback career of young rapper Lil Mama. She also mentioned that Lil Mama has been caste in the role of deceased, Philly native, and member of platinum R&B music group T.L.C. Lisa Left-eye Lopez in TLC’s new movie. According to Allhiphop.com: “The movie will be a made-for-TV venture that will delve into the roller coaster life of Left Eye. Left Eye was the Hip-Hop portion of the multi-platinum group…” The movie will look into other facets of the group, including T-Boz’s bout with sickle cell and the group’s well-documented financial woes.
“She just got the role as Left Eye in TLC’s new movie. I am so excited for her,” MC Lyte said, in the red carpet interview, then went on to say…“I’m gonna put a little bit of my concentration and focus on helping to uplift a sister who is talented, smart, witty, and just had her chances cut too short, and that’s Lil Mama ’cause she is a talented young lady,” Click here to read more
She should do a good job in this roll seems like a perfect match. Mad props to M C Lyte, it’s pretty big of her to extend herself for the sake of uplifting another sister.
