One of hip hop’s iconic fallen solders may be gone yet never forgotten, today March 9, 2013 will mark the 16th year of his untimely and currently unsolved murder of the Notorious B.I.G.. the world of Hip-Hop celebrated the life and mourned the lost of his life throughout air waves and social media networks aound the world all day
On March 9, 1997 Notorious B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace, was gunned down on , during a drive-by shooting in front of the Petersen Automotive Museum in downtown Los Angeles, CA, he did not survive the wounds of being struck by four bullets. To date, his murder is still unsolved and no one has ever been arrested.
According to All hiphop.com,…”Rappers remembered his legacy today Tweeting out their sentiments and thoughts of the iconic rapper.
“Our last night and pic together . Miss you BIG! Love u bro,” Diddy said via Twitter.
“RIP MY G NOTORIOUS GLORIOUS B.I.G.,” Nas Tweeted.

In honor of Biggie, last night (March 8) The Lox (Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch) paid tribute to their fallen label mate while at Bad Boy at a Hot 97 tribute show.
Joining the Lox was Lil Cease who performed some of Junior Mafia’s greatest hits like “The Players Anthem,” “Get Money” and many others.
