Philadelphia police found pipe bombs and other weapons in a Port Richmond home yesterday (Thursday) morning. Investigators say that around 6:30 a.m. narcotics officers were serving a warrant for a 31-year-old man allegedly growing pot inside a home on the 2600 block of E. Thompson Street when they discovered two pipe bombs and a collection of weapons “the kind you see in video games,” and included machine guns, rifles and crossbows.
They also found fireworks and powder, materials conducive with bomb-making.
