Around 5:00 p.m. today(April 18) a briefing took place at at The Sheraton Hotel, 39 Dalton Street regarding the Boston Marathon investigation. Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Boston Field Office Richard DesLauriers, United States Attorney Carmen Ortiz, and FBI JTTF law enforcement partners held the press briefing.

One suspect is shown wearing a dark hat and a dark jacket walking down Boylston Street near the scene of the bombings.The other suspect is shown wearing a white hat.

The Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Boston Field Office, Richard DesLauriers, said surveillance video showed that second suspect setting down a backpack at the site of second explosion.

The FBI said both men should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.

Release of the photos came as federal agents case pressed the search Thursday for one or more potential suspects seen on video and considered releasing the images to enlist the public’s help in hunting down the bombers.
