The first of many Mini Hip Hop Library’s has finally been installed in the South West section of Philadelphia. The Mini libraries will be dedicated from The Hip Hop Library in honor of the 50-year celebration of hip hop music and its culture.

The Mini library is located on the corner of 58th Elmwood Avenue just outside A Childs Dream Too child care facility following a Hip Hop Storytime Series conducted at the facility. The units were installed by local non-profit organization, Yocap. They were created and donated to The Hip Hop Library by the Philadelphia Carpenters Union.
The Mini libraries will serve multiple purposes in our communities. First and foremost, children’s books! Parents and kids can take one and leave one. The Mini Hip Hop Library may also include helpful resources and information. If you’re interested in having a Hip Hop Library Storytime Series and / or a Mini Hip Hop Library at a specific location.
